What this site is
Veterinarian Indio is an independent, online-only guide for pet owners in Indio and the surrounding Coachella Valley. It explains the difference between emergency care, urgent care, and routine visits, and it lists real clinics with their own phone numbers and hours.
We are not a veterinary clinic, and we are not veterinarians. We do not give medical advice or diagnose pets.
Why it exists
When something is wrong with a pet, especially at night or on a weekend, local information is hard to find. Many search results are national directories or clinic pages that only describe their own services. This site focuses on Indio and nearby cities, including practical details such as the fact that the closest 24-hour emergency hospital is in Palm Desert, not in Indio itself.
How we choose and check listings
- We check each clinic's details against its own website and public listings such as Google.
- We show a "last checked" date on pages that list clinics.
- We separate 24-hour emergency hospitals from urgent care and from regular clinics, so you know what each one is for.
- We leave out a clinic when we cannot confirm that its hours or services are current.
Hours and phone numbers change. Please always call ahead, and tell us if you find a mistake.
How the site is funded
At the moment, listings on this site are not paid for. If that changes, for example through sponsored listings or affiliate links such as pet insurance, we will label them clearly. Payment will never change which hospital we show as the nearest 24-hour emergency option.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email contact@veterinarianindio.com with the page and the correction. We review corrections and update the page, usually within a few business days.
